Common questions

What are the official cornhole board dimensions?
Regulation boards are 2 feet by 4 feet with a 6 inch hole centered 9 inches from the top. Backyard sets are commonly 2 feet by 3 feet, which is fine for casual play but not for league events.
How is cornhole scored?
A bag in the hole is 3 points and a bag on the board is 1 point. Scores cancel between the two sides each round, and games are usually played to 21.
Do I need tournament bags to start?
No. Start with all-weather bags, then move to dual-surface bags once you can control your throw. Bags change your game more than a new board does.
