Everything around the game
Fan Field Guide is an independent publication for sports fans who want practical answers: how to watch a game, what a stadium day actually involves, which category of gear fits how they play, and where to spend outdoors.
What we publish
We cover six areas: watching, attending, gear, recreation, teams and conferences, and outdoor recreation. Every page is written to answer a decision a fan is already trying to make, and to be useful outside of a single season.
- Viewing guides explaining which networks carry a league and how to confirm a window
- Game day and stadium guides covering access, policies and planning
- Buying guides organised around product types, criteria and trade-offs
- Retailer and service reviews written against a published methodology
- Team and conference pages that put watching, attending and gear in one place
Who writes it
Articles are produced and edited by the Fan Field Guide Editorial Team. We write from published manufacturer specifications, retailer documentation, league and venue policies, and our own research. Where we have not used a product ourselves, we say so and describe what our evaluation is based on instead.
How we stay independent
We use affiliate links, and some pages earn a commission when a reader buys through them. Commercial relationships never determine what we recommend, how a product type is ranked, or the conclusion of a review. Partners do not see or approve content before publication.
Corrections and feedback
If something on the site is out of date or wrong, tell us and we will correct it. Prices, broadcast rights, stadium policies and product specifications change, and we would rather fix a page than defend it.
